Hi! Welcome back to my blog.
I always love enjoy photographing weddings. There's so much love in the air and the bride and groom spent so much time carefully planning all the details. It was not any different for Alex and Josh's wedding, either!
I traveled from Justin,TX early that Saturday to photograph the wedding and reception which took place at the Waxahachie Civic Center and was catered by them as well.
Alex looked incredible in a vintage lace, tea-length dress.
Alex and Josh met at their Kingdom Hall. Josh had a huge crush on Alex for the longest time. Alex didn't fall in love as quickly, but before long she fell for his boyish smile and wonderful kindness.
Their first look was magical. Josh was happily surprised to see how beautiful Alex looked.
They decorated the arch above the altar with lots of flowers.
Then it was time for the reception. The reception was conveniently on the other side of the curtain. They used the string lights as a backdrop for the head table. All of the decorations were handmade by Alex. It is incredible how much decorations give character to a venue space.
Then is was time to dance the evening away. The twinkle lights in the background added for a romantic touch.
Then it was time for the Father Daughter dance and after that the Mother Son dance
The cake was a Lego wedding cake, which featured Alex and Josh as a Lego bride and groom and even a little dinosour.
Towards the end of the night we took some classy pictures in front of the gorgeous twinkle lights.
